SUMMARY: My background is anesthesiology. I worked as an anesthesiologist for over thirty years. I also have teaching experience, worked as an assistant professor since 1996, starting from the National Institute of Health, Ministry of Health. In 2008, I moved to the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Yerevan State Medical University. M. Heraci as an assistant professor. Currently I teach Armenian and foreign students in three languages: Armenian, Russian and English.
I have experience in palliative care for about thirteen years, starting with individual practice. Since then, I participated in the work of a Task Force of the Ministry of Health to develop conceptual documents on palliative care for Armenia. I mainly work in the field of education, at the same time creating programs, particularly for palliative care; I work in the field of practical palliative care, provide palliative care at home. From January 2012 to December 2013, I participated in the International Initiative for Leadership Development in Palliative Care (LDI) the Second Cohort. To protect my diploma, I developed and implemented a program of postgraduate education in palliative care in academic programs of Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU), and also made a “Training Program in Palliative Care for Family Doctors in the Regions of Armenia” for 5 regions of Armenia. I am currently teaching palliative care for family physicians and nurses at Yerevan State Medical University.

OTHER: I in 2012 I established the Armenian Association for the study of pain, in 2015 I was awarded grant from IASP to create and implement the curriculum in “Pain management for family physicians”, which I successfully realized.
